Jua Cali (Paul Nunda-real name) was born September 12, 1979 is a Genge artist from Kenya. His onstage name "Jua Cali", is derived from "California" estate in Nairobi (as is the name of Calif Records). It also resembles Jua Kali, a Swahili term meaning informal sector.He together with Clemo founded Calif Records in 2000 and has been with the label ever since. He raps mostly in Swahili.
His first recorded track "Ruka" was released in 2001 followed by "Nipe Asali" in 2002. He collaborated with Pilipili in track "Kamata Dame" in the year 2004. His album "Juacali Sekta" arrived on stores in 2006 and mostly contained previously released singles.

- Jua Cali won the Boomba male award for his song "Kiasi" at the 2006 Kisima Music Awards.
- He was also nominated in three categories at the 2006 Chaguo La Teeniez awards (CHAT Awards), but he did not win any omf them.
